Middle College High School (MCHS) at Durham Technical Community College is a Durham Public Schools high school for juniors and seniors.  Located on Durham  Tech.'s campus, MCHS consists of students from three school districts: Durham Public Schools, Orange County Schools, and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools.  Students apply for admission to MCHS (see How to Apply), and once accepted, take both community college courses and honors level high school courses.
 

All Durham Tech. classes and the use of required
materials are free to MCHS students.

The mission of Middle College High School at Durham Technical Community College is to expand learning opportunities for highly motivated students to earn a high school diploma, while acquiring credit toward an Associate Degree, a four-year college, or an industry certification credential.
